2014 GreenFest Concert featuring Chiddy Bang!


This year's GreenFest concert is featuring Chiddy Bang and the opening student performer, the Boondock Brothers. The concert will take place on Thursday, April 24, 2014 in the Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre. Doors will open at 6:00pm and the concert will begin at 7:00pm.

Tickets go on sale TODAY at noon in the Viejas Arena Ticket Office!

How much are tickets?
Student tickets are $10. Guest tickets are $20. 
One student ticket per valid Red ID. SDSU students can also purchase one (1) guest ticket, pending availability at the time of purchase. 

How many guest tickets are available?
There are a limited number of guest tickets available for the show.  

When do tickets go on sale?
TBA. Check back on the website for additional information.

How can I pay for my tickets?
You can pay with cash, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover. 

Where can I purchase tickets?
Viejas Arena Ticket Office at San Diego State University; Monday - Thursday from 10:00am - 5:30pm,Friday from 10:00am - 4:30pm

Can I bring my friend's Red ID in line with me so that we can buy tickets to sit together?
Yes, as long it is a valid Red ID that will be verified at purchase.

How do I make sure to sit next to my friends?
It's a "RESERVED SEATING" show. You either all have to purchase tickets at the same time at the Viejas Arena Ticket Office, or bring your friends' Red ID with you. 

Can my tickets be replaced if they are lost or stolen?  
No, lost or stolen tickets cannot be replaced. Tickets must be treated like cash and kept in a safe and secure place. Tickets should also be kept in a cool place and never placed in direct sunlight.

When do doors open at Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre?

Will I be able to go in and out of the venue?
No. There is no re-entry for this show.

Will my guest be able to come in to the Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre without me?
No. All guests must enter with an SDSU student who is carrying a valid Red ID. 


Are you interested in hosting GreenFest 2014?


We’re looking for an energetic student host that will help us take our week of sustainability, diversity, and Aztec Pride to the next level! Please fill out a host application (PDF) submit it via email to Kyle Murphy, GreenFest Vice Chair, at NO LATER THAN 11:59pm on April 8, 2014. In addition, you must be available to attend a GreenFest Meeting on Friday, April 11, 2014 between 9-11am in the Aztlan Suite (Union, 2nd Floor) for an in-person interview if you are chosen to continue in the process. GreenFest Student Team Competition Applications DUE MARCH 28, 2014


From a Sustainability Challenge to the Enviro-Fashion Show and so much more - get excited to participate in this year’s memorable 2014 GreenFest Student Team competitions! Create a team of 5 spirited Aztecs, and submit your team application (PDF) to the Associated Students Suite 320 or to Tara Purcell at by 4:00pm on March 28, 2014. You won’t want to miss GreenFest 2014!


Want to participate in Greenfest 2014?


Compete against your fellow students in teams of 5 in a week-long series of events including a Sustainable Challenge, Enviro-Music and Fashion Show, and so much more! Applications are due Friday, March 28th by 4pm to the Associated Students Office in Union Suite 320, or you can also submit them via email to To find out more information regarding the 2014 GreenFest Student Team Competition, please come to the Information Meetings on Monday, March 17th from 1 - 2pm in Park Boulevard and Wednesday, March 19th from 11am – 12pm in Pride Suite.

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported our student bands! A huge shout out goes out to our wonderful sponsors (Kind Healthy Snacks, Blick Art Supplies, Hindsight Rehearsal Studios, and Shake Smart) for their kind donations and to our student organizations (Green Love and the Student Diversity Commission) for educating our students on the importance of sustainability and diversity. GreenFest, presented by SDSU's Associated Students and SDSU's Enviro-Business Society, is a weeklong of events which encourage, celebrate, and advocate for sustainability, Aztec Pride, and diversity. The purpose of GreenFest is to engage the campus community through social and interactive programs in an effort to educate them on the important of living a sustainable lifestyle and to promote sustainable practices.
