Water You Waiting For? on October 21, 2014

To continue on with our yearlong GreenFest initiative, we are hosting "Water You Waiting For?" on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 in the Union Theatre from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. Enjoy the Sundance Festival documentary "Flow", participate in a water well demonstration brought to you by PowerSave, and make your own trail mix! Learn the importance of water conservation and connect with various student organizations.


Apply to be the SDSU Student Opening Act for the 2015 GreenFest Concert

Is it your dream to perform live at one of the biggest concerts of the year? Enter the GreenFest Showcase battle of the bands competition for a chance to be the SDSU student opening act at the GreenFest 2015 concert! The top 5 applicants will be chosen and given the opportunity to win the ultimate grand prize as they battle it out in Montezuma Hall on November 18, 2014. GreenFest Showcase Artist Applications are due to or to the Associated Students Office (Room 320 in the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union) by 4pm on October 17, 2014.


Grow with GreenFest on September 25, 2014

To kick off our yearlong initiative, we are hosting “Grow with GreenFest” on September 25th in Templo Mayor (2nd floor of Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union) at 3:00pm – 5:00pm. Come by to learn about gardening and the environment, sustainable agricultural practices from different cultures, and plant a succulent in a mason jar to take home!


Save the Date for GreenFest 2015 Week: March 2 - 5

Aztecs, mark your calendars for GreenFest week on March 2 - 5, 2015. We’re bringing to you traditional GreenFest events like the Bike Brunch, Green Lunch Bag Series, and a Keynote speaker, as well as creating new traditions to further promote our sustainability, diversity, and Aztec Pride efforts!


GreenFest: A Yearlong Initiative

Traditionally, GreenFest has been a weeklong event. However, for the first time ever, GreenFest invites you to practice and celebrate sustainability, Aztec pride, and diversity all throughout the academic year! We’ll be having a different event every month. Be on the lookout!

GreenFest, presented by SDSU's Associated Students and SDSU's Enviro-Business Society, is a weeklong of events which encourage, celebrate, and advocate for sustainability, Aztec Pride, and diversity. The purpose of GreenFest is to engage the campus community through social and interactive programs in an effort to educate them on the important of living a sustainable lifestyle and to promote sustainable practices.
