AccessibilityAccessible ServicesThe Open Air Theatre staff works diligently to provide for easy access to our guests with disabilities. We recognize the needs of persons with disabilities, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990 and make every effort to comply with both ADA and state accessibility mandates. General InformationAssistive Listening Devices Headsets and receivers are available at no charge from the Customer Service booth located at the main entrance gate. Either a driver's license or credit card will be required as a deposit. Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs) ATMs are not available at the Open Air Theatre. Customer Service BoothThe customer service booth is located at the main entrance on the east side of the theatre. This booth is staffed throughout the event. They distribute assisted listening devices, hold lost and found items and disabled assistants are stationed at this location. Emergency Evacuation ProceduresDesignated guest attendants and other personnel are available to assist in proper procedures for emergency situations. First Aid / Emergency CareIn the event of an emergency, please notify any Open Air Theatre event staff team member or uniformed police officer in your area. Interpreting ServicesGuests who require interpreting services for an event should contact the Events Coordinator, Aaron Woods, at (619) 594-0234 a minimum of three weeks prior to the event date to ensure services. We cannot guarantee later requests. ParkingPlease go to the ADA Parking Information Page. RestroomsAll public restrooms are designed to be accessible to our guests with disabilities. SeatingPlease to go the Accessiblity Ticketing for ticketing and seating information. Service AnimalsAlthough animals are not allowed in the Open Air Theatre, service animals for guests with disabilities are welcome. Please have the proper documentation for your service animal available. Please contact the Cox Arena Administration Office, if any accommodations are required (619-594-0234). SmokingSmoking is only allowed on the black asphalt of the upper level. TicketingPlease go to the Ticketing page for more information. Ticket ExchangesThe Cox Arena will exchange tickets, if available, in order to accommodate guests with disabilities. Patrons who have purchased tickets in the conventional seating area who may need access to accessible seating can exchange their tickets by calling the ticket office manager at 619-594-5085.
