AccessibilityAccessible ServicesThe Cox Arena staff works diligently to provide for easy access to our guests with disabilities. We recognize the needs of persons with disabilities, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990 and make every effort to comply with both ADA and state accessibility mandates. All disability access inquires should be directed to: Cox Arena General InformationAssistive Listening DevicesHeadsets and receivers are available at no charge from the Customer Service booth located at the main entrance gate (Gate 2). Either a driver's license or credit card will be required as a deposit. Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs)Automatic Teller Machines are located throughout the facility: Concession StandsAccessible concession stands are available on the entry level and floor level. If assistance is needed at any of the food service areas, please notify the nearest staff member. Customer Service BoothOur customer service booth is located inside the main gate (Gate 2), located on the west side of the arena. This booth is staffed throughout the event with personnel designated to assist our guests with disabilities. Assistive listening devices are also available at this location. Do not hesitate to stop by the booth during an event if you have any questions, comments or concerns. Drinking FountainsDrinking fountains throughout the Cox Arena are accessible to those with disabilities. Drinking fountains are located inside Doors 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 and 8. Drop-off / Pick-up AreaGuests will be able to drop-off individuals at the turnaround located on the west side of Cox Arena. Guests should enter the turnaround from 55th Street. ElevatorOne public elevator is located inside Door 7. This elevator is for our disabled and/or semi-ambulatory guests only. It is available for use when the event allows for public access to the floor level. Guests must have tickets located on or near the floor level to use the elevator. Emergency Evacuation ProceduresDesignated guest attendants and other personnel are available to assist in proper procedures for emergency situations. Entering the ArenaAll Cox Arena entrances are designed to accommodate guests with disabilities. The primary entrance for guests with disabilities is our main gate located on the west side of the arena (Gate 2). Assistants for our guests with disabilities are located at the customer service booth and can assist in directing guests to their seats (if needed). First Aid / Emergency CareIn the event of an emergency, please notify any Cox Arena staff member or uniformed police officer in your area. EMT’s are available at the Cox Arena during events. Interpreting ServicesGuests who require interpreting services for an event should contact the Events Coordinator, Aaron Woods, at (619) 594-0234 a minimum of three weeks prior to the event date to ensure services. We cannot guarantee later requests. ParkingPlease check out parking page for parking information. RestroomsAll public restrooms are designed to be accessible to our guests with disabilities. Restrooms are available on all levels. Seating and TicketingPlease check our ticketing page for seating information. Service AnimalsAlthough animals are not allowed in the Cox Arena, service animals for guests with disabilities are welcome. Please have the proper documentation for your service animal available. Please contact the Cox Arena Administration Office, if any accommodations are required (619-594-0234). SmokingSmoking is prohibited inside the facility. Guests may smoke on the outer concourse within the gates of the arena. Ticket ExchangesThe Cox Arena will exchange tickets, if available, in order to accommodate guests with disabilities. Patrons who have purchased tickets in the conventional seating area who may need access to accessible seating can exchange their tickets by calling the ticket office manager at 619-594-5085.
