The University Information Center (UIC)

The UIC is a great place to get information about SDSU and to inquire about the activity that happens in the Aztec Center Student Union! Come by and visit us to get information and directions.

The UIC is located in the Aztec Center Student Union across from STA Travel.

Saturday, 9am to 2pm

Lost and Found:

The UIC provides a limited scope of lost and found services for the campus. With the exception of the items noted below, found items are held for claim up to a maximum of thirty (30) days after which they are disposed.

Items not accepted at Lost and Found include:

  • Any paper items
  • Soft cover binders
  • Ripped or used clothing
  • Unsanitary items
  • Towels
  • Toiletries
  • Food
  • Perishable Items
  • The UIC reserves the right to refuse items in addition to the list above

The following items are turned in to SDSU Public Safety are not kept at the UIC:

  • Wallets
  • Items containing personal information (i.e. ID cards, credit cards, passports)
  • Cash
  • SDSU Keys (Sargent or Best; also stamped “Do Not Duplicate”

Signs and Postings at Aztec Center

To advertise for a weekly meeting or event, sign-holders are available to be checked out from the UIC. To check out a sign-holder you must be a recognized SDSU Student Organization or SDSU Department. You will need a valid Red ID and a completed Sign Request Form (link to AC Sign Request Form) to reserve equipment. Please visit the UIC for more information.

Posting is not allowed on Aztec Center structures, which includes buildings, pillars, windows, sidewalks, railings and furniture.

Public posting is allowed on the Aztec Center bulletin board located next to the Food Court. This bulletin board is cleared every Friday afternoon.
