Kronos CardSaver
CardSaver is an application where all employees’ punches from previous pay periods are stored in their original and complete form. This application gives you the capability to access your employee’s old punch data. Also, you can create reports with the same amount of detailed information that you would if you ran a report in the Timekeeper System.
The Timekeeper application holds punch data for the current and previous pay periods. To make space for new punch data, this application automatically discards the oldest punch data to CardSaver application at the end of the pay period.
How do I access the CardSaver application?
- Login into the Kronos Timekeeper System

- To open the CardSaver application: Click once on the icon with a red and white square figure (located at the top of the
screen right below the menu bar) Note: It may take a couple of minutes before the CardSaver screen comes up….that’s OK.

How do I access an employee’s old punch data in the CardSaver application?
- In CardSaver: Select Reports › Punch Detail

- In the Punch Detail Information window: Select Specific Employee or Standard Group › Next
Note: You can only select one employee or group (locator) at a time. - In the Options window: Select Time Ranges › Sort Order › Check: • Search Archives • Display Audit Trails • Include Accrual Balances › Click

Note: In the Timeframe option, you may specify the length of time you want to access by un-checking the box: “Include All Time Ranges”. Otherwise, all archived punch data will be displayed. We recommend that you select the three options below the sort order box to include all punch data details.

- In the Destination window: Send report to › Screen › Finish
- 5. To Print: Click once on the printer icon figure (located at the top of the screen right below the menu bar). Or, go to the
menu bar › Select File › Print Report
